At A Child’s Touch, we believe teaching is more than a job—it’s a calling. We’re looking for Christ-centered individuals who are passionate about children and eager to grow both personally and spiritually. If you’re a life-long learner with a heart to lead, love, and serve, you’ll find a home here.
We are more than a school—we are a family. When you join our team, you become part of a community united by a shared mission: to guide children’s hearts and minds toward the heart and mind of Christ.
This work is meaningful and deeply rewarding—but it’s not for everyone. If you’re simply looking for childcare work, are hesitant to grow, or don’t share our values and vision, this may not be the right fit. But if you’re seeking a place to make a kingdom impact—where your gifts are nurtured, your faith is strengthened, and your purpose is lived out daily—we invite you to prayerfully consider joining the ACT family.
Wanted: a compassionate and self-motivated individual with a specific interest in education. In this position, you will be responsible for supervising students, developing lesson plans, preparing lesson material, and maintaining classroom tidiness. If you consider yourself a friendly and competent teacher assistant, we’d love to hear from you.
At A Child’s Touch, we deeply value the calling and commitment of early childhood educators. Their role in shaping young minds and hearts is both profound and sacred. We believe that nurturing children in their formative years lays the foundation for a lifetime of faith, learning, and love.
In Episode 57 of the Called and Curious podcast, titled “Have You Thanked a Teacher Today? Here’s Why It Matters!”, Ashriel Huber offers a heartfelt tribute to early childhood educators. She emphasizes that teaching young children is not merely a job but a divine calling that requires passion, dedication, and a heart aligned with God’s purpose. Ashriel draws a beautiful parallel between teachers and bonfires, illustrating how educators ignite curiosity and wonder in young hearts, much like flames that light the way. She encourages us all to support and appreciate these educators, recognizing their vital role in our communities.

Whether you’re a novice or a seasoned educator, there’s always something new to learn. You get paid on-site training and ECE classes, CPR and First Aid training and certification, and in-service days to grow your skills and hone your expertise. We’re a little different around here as we take growing on purpose, in our purpose seriously. That means we spend a lot of time modeling being life-long learners by growing ourselves, our skills, and our connections so we can step into our teaching callings with confidence. ACT invests a lot of time, energy, and fun into creating ongoing training opportunities so each teacher gets poured into to grow their unique giftings to continually grow and serve the children
